CHELSEA The brief for this project called for clean lines and a ‘hotel feel,’ and the house was ready for a transformation. Initially featuring three small bedrooms, a large dated bathroom, and a cramped shower room, it was in desperate need of updating. With enthusiasm, we collaborated with our clients to redesign the space into a luxurious and spacious two-bedroom home, maximising comfort throughout. This charming house was infused with love and care, turning it into a true gem that perfectly met the brief. Additionally, we provided art advice for the project, which was a fantastic opportunity to see the space fully completed—something that’s not always possible. BELGRAVIA A lovely family approached us to assist with a full renovation of their new second home in Belgravia. They wanted a space that could accommodate their three sons while also catering to their work life. This project required extensive planning, and although we encountered some asbestos that delayed us by three weeks, we ultimately delivered the renovation in a record time of 4.5 months—well ahead of schedule! We designed a significant amount of bespoke joinery, which was a fantastic opportunity for creativity. Additionally, we transformed half of a tandem garage into a stylish 'man cave' complete with a bar, greatly enhancing the living space and adding value to the property. The project’s brief called for a 'Grown-Up Boho Feel,' allowing us to incorporate rich woods, vibrant colors, and plenty of texture. SUSSEX Wonderful clients approached us to transform their country home in Sussex into a personal retreat that embodied everything Knox loves about a country residence. Their vision was to create a space perfect for a busy working couple who enjoy entertaining. Prioritizing comfort and quality, we focused on adding vibrant colors and playful elements while maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere. The design aimed for versatility, ensuring the home could easily accommodate both children and executives for weekend gatherings. Collaborating with local builders and decorators, we incorporated Knox’s bespoke joinery services to achieve the desired look. The entire project was a delight, allowing us to blend functionality with style. The neutral beige sofa is paired with a mix of patterned throw pillows in navy, green, and botanical prints, adding depth and texture. Natural light from the French windows enhances the room's airy feel, while the animal-print ottoman introduces a playful yet refined touch. Thoughtful accents like fresh flowers and simple but gorgeous curtains to soften the look complete the inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. ​ The Hallway A modern staircase features a durable sisal runner, ideal for high-traffic areas. The herringbone pattern adds texture, while subtle edging introduces a hint of color, enhancing the stylish yet practical design. The natural sisal contrasts beautifully with the white railing and smooth surfaces, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. ​ In the living space, a embroidered table covering injects colour into a neutral setting. Its fringed edges add texture, complementing the smooth walls and sleek black lamp. Bathroom & Guest Loo This guest loo features bold blue and white geometric wallpaper, creating a dynamic focal point. Natural light softens the vibrant pattern, while existing fixtures a sink and toilet maintain a clean, streamlined look. White accents keep the space bright and balanced and the wallpaper offsetting the sink and loo not being replaced. A contemporary bespoke country bathroom that seamlessly blends simplicity with livability. Featuring elegant marble counter tops and high-quality hardware, this space is thoughtfully curated by Knox, stocked with luxurious products from Aesop and The White Company. The Office's Both offices are uniquely tailored and expertly designed by Knox to meet our clients' needs for functionality and aesthetics. They feature the right storage solutions, high-quality hardware, and beautifully chosen wallpaper and paint finishes. Bedroom 2 This unique country bedroom is a delightful blend of style and comfort, highlighted by a patterned square headboard that serves as a striking focal point. Complementing this are long bolster cushions adorned with a rich burgundy trim, adding a touch of sophistication. A bespoke beige armchair, thoughtfully placed alongside a stylish standing lamp, creates an inviting corner perfect for relaxation and unwinding. This harmonious combination not only enhances the room's aesthetic but also elevates the overall comfort and functionality. The Drawing Room This living room is thoughtfully designed with cohesive furniture choices, including a few sofas and armchairs, ottomans, and a table, creating an inviting seating area. Pillows in various shapes and colors add visual interest and coziness. A stylish lamp provides ambient lighting, while the red, pink, and neutral color scheme creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great blend of comfort, style, and functionality. The Garden This stunning garden, designed by Knox and our incredible landscape designer, showcases charming vintage flower pots, an inviting outdoor dining area, and a cozy sofa seating arrangement. Sunbeds with coordinated cushions complete the space, creating a harmonious and stylish retreat. Bedroom 1 This charming country bedroom showcases a stunning floral curved headboard that adds a touch of elegance. Complementing this focal point are two generously sized bespoke green cushions with a sophisticated beige trim, inviting comfort and style. A cozy green armchair, paired with a stylish standing lamp, creates a perfect reading nook. The bespoke green wardrobe is thoughtfully designed to fit the space, optimizing both functionality and storage while enhancing the room's overall aesthetic. Bedroom 3 The master bedroom is a stunning showcase of rich reds, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every element, from the elegantly crafted headboard and plush bed cushions to the bespoke armchair and side tables, has been thoughtfully designed and selected by Knox to perfectly align with our client's vision. This cohesive design not only reflects personal style but also ensures a harmonious blend of comfort and sophistication throughout the space. Bedroom 4 This charming small country bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to maximize both space and style. Featuring two single beds arranged toe-to-toe, the room is elegantly framed by a beautifully draped curtain and pelmet, creating an inviting and functional atmosphere. A harmonious palette of blues unites the space, while crisp whites and a delicate patterned wallpaper add depth and brightness, enhancing the overall aesthetic. This unique approach not only elevates the room's visual appeal but also ensures it feels open and airy.
