Paris A couple recently relocated to Paris for work and enlisted Knox Interiors to transform their rental flat into a stylish, functional home. With only six weeks to execute the project, Knox Interiors delivered everything from custom sofas and bespoke headboards to luxury bedding and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with appliances and kitchenware. The design included all light fixtures and decorative elements, right down to candles and bathroom soaps, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Thanks to Knox Interiors, the couple enjoyed an instant home that perfectly blends elegance with practicality as they embrace their new adventure in the City of Lights. The Knox Design Process First meeting (ideally on site) - This is free of charge Post this meeting a summary of what Knox has understood to be the basis of the project is sent via email with terms and conditions. The client will need to reply to this email accepting the terms. Alongside this the client needs to send a Pinterest link to the looks that they like and if they are not sure we of course can set this into motion. Once the overall look has been agreed via imagery Knox will develop a look book and a quotation. This process involves a lot of work and comes at a cost of £8000+VAT, half of this is refundable against the first Knox Invoice. If the project is a design and build this is done in two stages. The first stage being the fittings and fixtures as we call it the bones of the renovated project, this will also involve all trades associated. The second phase is soft furnishings, furniture, designer lighting and accessories. Once the client has checked the quotations and any changes have been made and agreed a start date will be set and time plans generated for all. A contract will be signed directly with the builder and a payment schedule will be arranged. At this stage we like our clients to ideally download the Houzz app as this will give the ability to look and check on the progress of all on a daily basis. Knox Interior design and design do not carry a contract we work on trust, there is a signature feature on our quotation system. All items bought for a project are paid fully upfront. Time is billed monthly and due on receipt. Any extras requested or discussed with or by the client will be confirmed in writing. The client will have five working days to flag any concerns, post the five working days, no response will be taken as acceptance. Knox will photograph the property in detail and flag any snags at the end of the project and the client will have two weeks from this point to also create a snag list if any. This will all be addressed at the 12 week point post handover. GLOUCESTERSHIRE This project was one of our earlier endeavors, and we felt incredibly fortunate to work on such a stunning home! Designed to perfection, it was truly a dream space for any designer. Although we were only furnishing it for sale, we loved every moment spent in this impressive property, surrounded by picturesque parkland, complete with estate fencing and sheep grazing nearby—a slice of paradise! We approached the project with a keen eye on budget, mindful of the costs since the house was on the market. While the client, a Belgian national, requested a nod to both England and Belgium, we delivered a tasteful blend without being frivolous. This early project holds a special place in our hearts, and the beautiful setting combined with the elegant design made it an unforgettable experience for the entire team!
